Company Information
ShoreDaddy by South Bay Remotes is proudly Canadian owned and operated.
The ShoreDaddy was exclusively designed to offer recreational boaters or float plane owners the convienence, dependability, security and simplicity of launching and storing water craft using a wireless remote control.
South Bay Remotes was formed by the inventor of ShoreDaddy, Anthony Penna, in the Kawarthas. The product was developed to take advantage of the smaller and more powerful RF wireless technology available today, and to adapt it to the current winch systems on marine railways and boat lifts. After building his first system and installing it on his own marine railway, many of Anthony's neighbours wanted one, and the ShoreDaddy was born.
The ShoreDaddy has features that set it ahead of the competition. No other product on the market offers the security and the ability to add safety limit switches for both IN, OUT and boathouse DOOR UP, small keyfob transmitters, options to add up to 15 remotes, a standard wireless range of 500 feet and an optional antenna to increase the range up to 1600 feet.
ShoreDaddy is proudly designed, manufactured and serviced in our Toronto manufacturing site to CSA / UL standards. It is aproved by the Electrical Safety Authority and built by a boat owner for boat owners.
